It’s going to be a busy time in Malta this week. Although the week starts somewhat slowly due to many people taking advantage of the 7th June pubic holiday, on Thursday and Friday we have the Malta iGaming Seminar 2011.
This years Malta iGaming Seminar begins with a speech from the Minister of Finance, followed by an interview with the CEO of the Lotteries and Gaming Authority, Mr Reuben Portanier. Panel discussions and presentations will cover a wide array of topics, including The Ever Changing EU Regulatory Landscape, Setting up your SEO Team, The Malta Setup Process and more.
Participants will have a chance on Thursday evening to show off their poker skills in the MiGS Free Roll Poker Tournament, and there’s a top prize of a 4 hour champagne filled charter on a 48′ Sunseeker. The final day closes with the open bar “Sunset Chill” pool party at the Merkanti beach club.
For those who manage to stay out of Paceville long enough to see in the weekend, Saturday bring the start of the Malta iGaming Regatta, where iGaming companies battle it out on the waves in identical Beneteau yachts to see which team performs best under pressure. The iGaming Regatta is spread over the whole weekend, with the race series taking place during the Sunday. In the evening there will be dinner and the awards ceremony, with another open bar and partying into to the night.
It’s toasty and warm here at 35°N, so be sure to pack your shorts and tee-shirts!
